  My wife and I both had bad experiences with Dr Anumu. She refused to listen to us as patients. I also had a bad experience with an older doctor there )can't remember her name. I went in for extreme sinus pain felt in my teeth. The Dr told me to see a dentist. Really? I took some strong sinus & allergy meds and the pain went away in 2 hours. That Dr is no longer at SSM Lena. We now go to FHN Lena and had no bad experiences. All good.

  Apparently the vast majority of the staff over here doesn’t care about patients. Made an appointment and travelled to find out the appointment disappeared when I checked to make sure it was there before I travelled to get there. According to them, the appointment never existed. Blamed it on WiFi and wouldn’t check for any upcoming appointments while I was there. I was instead told to go to urgent care and straight up told them it wasn’t an urgent care situation. Talked to urgent care to confirm and guess what? Urgent care refused to see me. The ER couldn’t do anything to help me (and I went), thus why I needed to see my doctor here. Got on MyChart to try making another appointment and apparently wouldn’t be able to get in until January over something that needs to be dealt with now. Sent a message to the doctor and the response I got was that they’ll have someone contact me as if that’s going to do anything. They don’t even care when you’re at a point that just getting out of bed takes everything you’ve got. It’s almost to a point where they might as well tell you to go die if I’m being honest.

  Julio is my primary, and he is absolutely wonderful. Always caring, always looking at the entire person, and not just a list of symptoms. The nurses are fantastic, and I have never had a bad experience here.

  Absolutely ridiculous!!! I had an appointment at 4pm as a new patient, never was seen and checked up on once! I ended up walking out after 1 hour and 10 minutes of sitting there in a room!!! So back to FHN I go!!
