Dr. Benjamin and is staff were accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. My wild child son scratched his eye with a stick. The situation was bleak and nerve racking. Called up the eye care center and they allowed us to come in first thing. Seemed like Doc had seen this a million times before and was calming, caring, and personable. Got drops in, got a diagnoses, got a prescription, and they got us on our way. The wild child is okay and back to normal. Easy parking, you can find their office in the lower level.

Dr. Benjamin is an extremely intelligent physician, who has always taken time with me to explain what is happening and to also be very aware of any apprehensions I have by answering all of my questions.
His staff is outstanding - knowledgeable and very welcoming- always ready to assist and create a warm environment.

Not Happy
It has been more than year since my lens replacement procedure, with Dr. Benjamin. Unfortunately, I continue to experience ongoing visual problems. Specifically, I suffer from persistent blurred and double vision, and nighttime visibility is severely compromised by starbursts from all sources of light—streetlamps, headlights, signage, even minor reflections. It looks like I will have these issues for the rest of my life!
These issues have diminished my daily activities. Meantime, I have not received any meaningful follow-up toward improving my condition. To correct his mistake, Dr. Benjamin’s remedy is to do another surgical procedure to reposition the lens. An ill-advised action according to two other ophthalmologists. They warned me, to reposition the lens is a very risky procedure for obvious reasons. He states my end condition falls into a category that his results are “good enough”, really!
Since I can only see out of one eye (amblyopia since birth), I am sharing this experience publicly to alert potential patients to beware. I now live with daily visual distortion and discomfort, a constant reminder of their negligence. No patient should have to endure this kind of outcome, especially when it stems from a preventable surgical error. If you're considering this practice, I urge you to think twice. Your eyesight is too precious to gamble with.

Requested an appointment here for an eye emergency and was told that there was an opening at 4pm. I waited over half an hour before being told I wouldn’t be seen before 5pm. The reasoning was that the doc was running behind. Perhaps you guys could give a courtesy call when something like this happens in the future? I’m sure the quality of care is great here, but it is a poorly-run office. Very frustrating to adjust my work schedule just to waste an hour of my time waiting with a painful eye.
