- THTammy HillApr 1, 20265.0My husband got a piece of steel in his eye and Great Rivers Community Eye Care got us in asap!! Amanda gave him excellent care and was able to remove the steel. Amanda prescribed antibiotic drops, for his eye. She is having him come back, during non business hours, to check the injury and to make sure there is no infection. Would highly recommend!!

Dr. Gerson takes time to explain everything to you and at no time did I feel like I was rushed through the process. I highly recommend her. The office also has a wonderful selection of glasses to choose from.
