Ahsan took my blood samples. He was so delicated and kindness.
Clinic so new, clean and modern. It was so easy to get online appointment and the waiting time was 5 minutes for me.

There is an ease and flow to coming into this location—it feels much more comfortable compared to other lab clinics I’ve been to. The male lab technician was especially personable and friendly, clearly explaining the process both before and during the blood draw, which made the experience smooth and reassuring.

My wait times are usually short and I’ve never had phlebotomists struggle to collect blood, but I have had more than one less-than-stellar experience. First, for a place that offers walk-ins, they do NOT appreciate if you walk in. The last time I did that, I was met with hostility and a card on how to schedule an appointment for “next time”. Then today, I was turned away from a scheduled appointment for not fasting. I looked up their codes and none of my tests required fasting. I really appreciate the service they provide the community but I wish some of the staff members were a bit more pleasant.

This was a good experience! The lab tech who helped me was patient and understanding with my anxiety of getting my blood drawn. Normally I need to be laid down which can be more time consuming to seeing other patients but recently smelling an alcohol pad offers the distraction needed to get through it. He happily helped me with that request and he was kind and asked how I was doing through the process.

I had a great experience at this Quest Diagnostics Hoffman Estate for my blood work. I came in for a self-test and the check-in process was quick and hassle-free.
I want to give a special shout-out to my Phlebotomist, Iwette. She provided excellent service from start to finish. Since I was doing a self-test, she guided me through the online ordering process and even made sure I held my spot in the queue while I finished the purchase in the waiting area. She even came back out to check on me and make sure I wasn't having any issues.
When it came time for the draw, my arm veins weren't cooperating.
Iwette was very empathetic and warned me that we’d have to use my wrist, which might be painful. However, she was so skilled that I only felt a tiny pinch—nothing like I expected!
Iwette is an excellent nurse with top-tier customer service skills. She made a potentially stressful visit very easy. Highly recommend

Please be aware that when you visit a Quest Patient Service Center:

Do you accept walk-ins?
Scheduled appointments are strongly encouraged and will receive priority. If you walk in, you will have to wait for the next available opening.
Should I be fasting?
Fasting before a blood draw means you don’t eat or drink anything except water. If your test requires it, don't forget to fast for 8-12 hours before your appointment. If you’re not sure, contact your doctor's office. To learn more about how to prepare for your test, visit QuestDiagnostics.com/patients/get-tested/prepare/fasting for additional fasting information.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please arrive and check in 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you check in more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will be served as a walk-in.
You should bring the following to your appointment:
•A lab order from your doctor. If your doctor did not give you a paper order, check with them to see if they sent it electronically.
•Photo identification listing your first name, last name, and date of birth (for example, a driver's license, government issued photo ID, Passport, or Green Card).
•Current health insurance information.
•Credit, debit, or health savings card. You will be asked to preauthorize payment for any balance due after your insurance is billed.
It’s important to also know if your test requires fasting the day before and/or morning of your appointment. Your healthcare provider should have indicated this on your lab order or during your visit. Learn more about fasting before a lab test.
Note: Childcare is not available and the waiting area is not attended. Some testing protocols, such as drug screenings or pre-employment screenings, have strict rules which do not allow children to accompany the patient during sample collection. If you have questions about your testing protocols, please contact your healthcare professional or employer for additional information.
How do I check in when I arrive?
Sign in using the Check-in kiosk, or if not available, sign the clipboard at the front desk. Please be prepared to present a valid photo ID and insurance information. Be sure to mark the reason for your visit when signing in.
If you were unable to preregister ahead of time, and would like to do so, you may be able to complete the registration process if you arrive a few minutes early at a Quest Patient Service Center that has a Check-in kiosk. When you check in with your mobile number, you may be asked if you want to complete the registration process on your smartphone while you wait.
My doctor told me they would send over an order. Do you have it?
If your doctor said they would send us the order electronically or via fax, there is no need to confirm that we have the order. If we do not have the order, we will call the doctor to obtain it when you arrive at our Quest Patient Service Center. To prevent delays, be sure to visit our location during your doctor’s office hours or obtain a copy of your order from your doctor.
How soon after my visit will my doctor receive my lab test results?
Turnaround times for test results can vary. If you have a MyQuest account, your test results will be delivered to your account as soon as they are available. This can take 2-5 business days from the time the sample is received, depending on your test.
You should always follow up with your doctor to discuss your results.
