While I get that mirrors can be helpful in a gym setting, it can be uncomfortable if you're someone who feels self-conscious. Most of the cardio machines, like treadmills and bikes, face directly into the mirrors, which feels a bit ironic for a place that markets itself as “Judgement Free.” It would make a big difference if at least some of the machines were turned away from the mirrors to give members the option. If you’re looking for a clean, well-equipped gym with no frills (and you’re okay seeing your reflection often), this Planet Fitness absolutely gets the job done. Planet Fitness has just about every piece of equipment you could need (minus a pool), and for the size of the building, it's impressive how much they've managed to fit inside while still keeping things feeling spacious. The massage chairs and hydro beds are a fantastic bonus – definitely a favorite part of the experience.
