She is attentive, she always provides top-of-the-line service, and she gives me a feeling of warmth and comfort knowing my requests will be handled with the utmost care, and to my satisfaction. I don't know about other Pearle Vision locations, but I trust and would recommend the Frankfort, IL location to anyone looking for vision experts.
- NSN SmithJan 26, 20261.0I'll start by saying I've seen both Nicholas Rutkowski & a different optician over five visits here, and they were both great. No issues there. My trouble is with the front desk/billing department. After three years of normal annual visits I learned from my employer that my normal health insurance includes an annual exam. So before going back for the fourth annual visit, I confirmed with the office that my normal plan covers an exam and they agreed. After that visit was complete they claimed my insurance does not cover the exam, I reminded them it's under my normal insurance and not vision insurance. They couldn't "find it," so I paid out of pocket. Then for the fifth annual exam I again called ahead first to confirm they knew my normal insurance covered the exam, they said yep. Guess what happened after that exam.., can't find the coverage and I had to pay out of pocket. I tried to contact Dr. Ruthowski directly and his email was undeliverable. I used the "contact us" form on their website requesting a call from Dr. Ruthowski and somebody else from the Bourbonnais office called me instead. She was at least polite and provided receipts for my visits so I could submit a claim, but of course they were all denied because they were too old. The office staff in Frankfort is incompetent and I believe the lady in Bourbonnais was trying to prevent Dr. Ruthowski from knowing about the issue. I hope he sees this, along with Pearle Vision corporate.
- KDKelly DJan 10, 20265.0This was my first time going to the eye doctor and everyone was extremely nice and helpful and explained everything that they were going to do, which eased my anxiety. Dr.Zintak was the best! I will definitely come back to this location for my next exam. Mike was very helpful as well helping me pick out my very first pair of glasses. I highly recommend this location.
