Went here about a week ago and now i am suffering from an eye infection. Pretty sure it was from the machines all the way in the back, they dont get cleaned enough. Especially the one that shoots air into your eye. All I wanted to do was check out and get my prescription but they were very pushy about getting me glasses and having me try all these frames on. I already told the guy i was not interested in purchasing glasses today but he completely ignored me and kept pushing.

I was thrilled with my recent visit to LensCrafters in Elgin on Randall Road. The technician performing the initial tests was quick and competent. Dr. Teraji was delightful as he explained my tests results and further examined my eyes. He went out of his way to answer questions, and even had suggestions to make my iPhone easier to read. Hamaz helped me pick out new frames. The way your glasses look is important because they’re on your face all the time. Hamaz seemed to understand this and was patient and knowledgeable as he helped me select the perfect frames. Not only did I need regular glasses, I also needed sunglasses and a new prescription for my computer glasses. This boutique had many attractive styles available including the best designers. I am thrilled with the styles I chose. Hamaz suggested that I reuse the frames for my computer glasses to save money. I found that I can use the glasses until the new lenses arrive. Then when I bring the frames to the store, they can put in the new lenses on the spot. To make my experience even more delightful, a Lenscrafters promotion meant that my glasses cost me far less than I expected. I couldn’t be happier and recommend this store very highly.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters Optique

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
