- TBTammy BillingsleaNov 23, 20251.0The emergency department is just Trash! The nurses do not have a perfesional bedside manner at all. I had received a call that my adult son was given car and narcane and then was sedated. He became combative and scratched a nurse so they revoked his rights and could not have visitors. I was then told he was given a sedative to calm him down and he was sleeping. I told them I didn't need to hold his hand or speak to him but as a mother I would like to see him through a windows with my own eyes, just so I can see that my son was alive for myself. I was denied that and asked to leave the premises and walked out by 4 security workers. I did get loud and punched a wall but never violent towards the staff. They judged me by his behavior. It's not to much to let a mother visually see her child breathing regardless of age. I left and called the next morning to check on him and was hung up on. And this is why the Ed has a bad name and has earned the name kill em kish. Disrespectful and unprofessional
