However, as a parent of a 3 and 4yo- one with extreme medical/white coat anxiety that has worked so hard to overcome- I was simply told they would only be able to have a simple exam with me in the room and if my child couldn't calm down enough to go back on their own- I could try again another day or take them elsewhere. Having my 3yo daughter go with strangers for a full cleaning and exam? Absolutely wild. As an advocate for special needs families, including families with trauma, or simply reading any of our country's current news?- this has red flags all over it. The next dentist office on the Google search was much more friendly, helpful, and understanding, and knew by my questioning exactly who I had called first. ✌️
