Horrible! Quest sent a login link via sms. I checked in according to their instructions. I waited and was never called. No one to talk to - no front desk so I tried to speak to someone when they opened door to call someone else... Women was horribly rude... When I asked to speak to someone in charge that woman was equally rude. According to them it was all my fault for using the link they sent. Finally they agreed to see me but then sent me to the lobby to wait again. In total I waited over an hour past my appointment time. Thankfully there was one young man who was very helpful who finally brought me in took care of the testing quickly efficiently and my thanks to him for that but overall there's no way I will ever come to this location again.

Jacob was very personable and highly skilled. He explained things to my 11 year old son as he drew my blood and before he drew my son's blood (his first time) in a way that was calming and interesting.

I was tested by Maria M, and unfortunately my experience with her was not pleasant. Her communication style felt very authoritarian and abrupt. She often spoke in very short responses and did not complete full sentences. For example, when the form required a signature, I asked if I could use my initials. She simply replied, “Sign,” without any clarification. Additionally, there was no greeting when I arrived and no acknowledgment or “thank you” when I left.

I had a very disappointing experience today at Quest Diagnostics - Peterson Ave.
The laboratory had previously made a mistake with our blood test order, which required us to return for a repeat visit. I came prepared with the written request form clearly stating which blood test I was there for. Although the correct test had originally been submitted, the lab made an error processing it.
When I tried to calmly explain the situation to the mid-aged staff member assisting me, she immediately became rude, raised her voice, and insisted that the lab could never make a mistake. She repeatedly blamed my provider instead of listening to what I was saying. I made it clear that I wasn’t blaming her personally, but she refused to hear me out.
She began yelling, threatened to have me kicked out and trespassed, and created a scene in front of other patients. Even after I brought in a new order, she continued to argue and would not listen. When other staff members attempted to step in and help, she stopped them, saying it would be an insult to her if someone else assisted me.
Thankfully, the manager eventually came, listened to my side of the story, understood the situation, and arranged for another staff member to complete my visit. However, the original employee continued to display a hostile attitude toward me from the back area.
This was one of the most unprofessional healthcare experiences I have ever had. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, especially when they are simply trying to correct an error that was not their fault. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

What do I need to know before I arrive at a Quest Patient Service Center?
Please be aware that when you visit a Quest Patient Service Center:
• Scheduled appointments are strongly encouraged and will receive priority. Please arrive and check in 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you check in more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will be served as a walk-in.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Scheduled appointments are strongly encouraged and will receive priority. If you walk in, you will have to wait for the next available opening.
Should I be fasting?
Fasting before a blood draw means you don’t eat or drink anything except water. If your test requires it, don't forget to fast for 8-12 hours before your appointment. If you’re not sure, contact your doctor's office. To learn more about how to prepare for your test, visit QuestDiagnostics.com/patients/get-tested/prepare/fasting for additional fasting information.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please arrive and check in 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you check in more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will be served as a walk-in.
You should bring the following to your appointment:
•A lab order from your doctor. If your doctor did not give you a paper order, check with them to see if they sent it electronically.
•Photo identification listing your first name, last name, and date of birth (for example, a driver's license, government issued photo ID, Passport, or Green Card).
•Current health insurance information.
•Credit, debit, or health savings card. You will be asked to preauthorize payment for any balance due after your insurance is billed.
It’s important to also know if your test requires fasting the day before and/or morning of your appointment. Your healthcare provider should have indicated this on your lab order or during your visit. Learn more about fasting before a lab test.
Note: Childcare is not available and the waiting area is not attended. Some testing protocols, such as drug screenings or pre-employment screenings, have strict rules which do not allow children to accompany the patient during sample collection. If you have questions about your testing protocols, please contact your healthcare professional or employer for additional information.
How do I check in when I arrive?
Sign in using the Check-in kiosk, or if not available, sign the clipboard at the front desk. Please be prepared to present a valid photo ID and insurance information. Be sure to mark the reason for your visit when signing in.
If you were unable to preregister ahead of time, and would like to do so, you may be able to complete the registration process if you arrive a few minutes early at a Quest Patient Service Center that has a Check-in kiosk. When you check in with your mobile number, you may be asked if you want to complete the registration process on your smartphone while you wait.
My doctor told me they would send over an order. Do you have it?
If your doctor said they would send us the order electronically or via fax, there is no need to confirm that we have the order. If we do not have the order, we will call the doctor to obtain it when you arrive at our Quest Patient Service Center. To prevent delays, be sure to visit our location during your doctor’s office hours or obtain a copy of your order from your doctor.
How soon after my visit will my doctor receive my lab test results?
Turnaround times for test results can vary. If you have a MyQuest account, your test results will be delivered to your account as soon as they are available. This can take 2-5 business days from the time the sample is received, depending on your test.
You should always follow up with your doctor to discuss your results.
