I’ve been a patient at this LensCrafters location for the past two years, and my experience has consistently been excellent. Dr. Kowalski has been amazing from day one. He’s personable, knowledgeable, supportive, and always bringing great energy to every visit.
During my most recent visit, I came in to order contacts and also needed glasses. Jaisen Allen, the store manager, was incredibly helpful and professional. He took the time to explain the new LensCrafters+ program in a way that felt practical and personalized, which I really appreciated. I was able to get my contacts and two new pairs of glasses ordered, which made the visit productive and worthwhile.
I also had a tricky situation come up, and Jaisen helped me navigate it with care and professionalism. Meant a lot. Between his excellent customer service and Dr. Kowalski’s ongoing support, I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience here.
10/10 recommend this location. Great people, great energy, and great service.

The optometrist was really nice and professional. However, two of the associates always seem to be in a bad mood. Whenever I want to purchase something they actually look upset that they have to now put in the effort to do checkout. The only time they seem relieved is when its time for the customer to leave. They dont have the cost differences of different lenses handy, and use their tablet to put in the order with little transparency for the customer. Only after the order is completed do they give the invoice with the breakdown. God forbid you want to know the difference of certain options. They look at you like you're stupid and they are inconsiderate and desensitized of the fact glasses are a large expense.

Akina at LensCrafters was absolutely wonderful today. She spent so much time with me, patiently explaining the AI glasses, answering all of my questions, and making sure I understood everything clearly. She also adjusted the pair I got so carefully and made sure they fit just right. I really appreciated how knowledgeable, thorough, and kind she was throughout the whole experience. Great customer service is hard to find, and Aki truly went above and beyond. Thank you, Akina!

Stopped in to the Delano Court Chicago location hoping they would help me adjust some glasses that I did not buy there but were hurting me. Almost embarrassed to ask but was desperate. Jaisen Allen (manager) could not have been more kind and helpful! My glasses feel much better and I will be sure to shop there for next pair.
Thank you Jaisen.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
