I order my new glasses one week and they were back in one week.
I left my frame because I loved my Ray Ban frames I got from Len Crafter two years ago.
So I really needed my new lens speedily and it was done quickly. Thanks!

Not entirely sure if it’s driven by racism or just total lack of regard for customers but walked in, browsed for a bit and didn’t get any assist from the staff.
Asked a tattooed man about my vision insurance and he said they didn’t take VSP and that only some plans had some options but basically stopped replying and went back to doing what he does.
If there were some VSP plans that cover out of pocket, why wouldn’t you make any effort to help me look if I’m a potential paying customer?
Felt disrespected and walked out.

We went to this store to get the Meta glasses and some guidance because it is our first time buying these glasses and we truly don’t know much. The person who was there just pointed out at the shelves were the glasses were at and answered very abruptly to our questions and seemed to be annoyed. I understand we all can have bad days, but we just wanted guidance to make an informed decision

First off, I felt rushed from the doctor during the eye exam, she has written wrong prescription for my dominant eye, when asked, she was inflexible and not willing to hear me out, insisting her prescription was right. That's a red flag#1. I had to switch to a different doctor to get back on track with proper prescription during my follow-up visit.
Red flag #2: The monthly trial lenses were ordered 2 months ago, and they are still not here; daily disposable trial lenses ordered 2.5 weeks ago, still not here. I have never experienced this long delay with any other stores before. No one seems to care to putting a rush for it. I have called up half a dozens of times to track, sometimes I got someone answering the phone with least patience.
My experience here is terrible, I'm about to give up and I don't think I'll ever come back again.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at LensCrafters on 225 N Michigan Ave. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The office was clean, organized, and ran very efficiently, which immediately made me feel comfortable.
My appointment with Dr. Violi truly exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say I have never had such a thorough eye exam in my life. Dr. Violi was incredibly knowledgeable and explained every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. He didn’t rush through anything, yet somehow managed to be impressively fast and efficient at the same time. Every test felt purposeful and detailed, and he made sure to answer all of my questions completely.
What stood out most was how comprehensive the exam was. Dr. Violi took the time to ensure my prescription was perfectly accurate and carefully checked the overall health of my eyes. I left feeling confident that nothing was overlooked. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines expertise, efficiency, and genuine care so seamlessly.
The staff also made the experience exceptional. They were patient, helpful, and knowledgeable when assisting me with frame selection, making the entire visit smooth from start to finish.
If you’re looking for top-tier eye care in downtown Chicago, I highly recommend this location. This was by far the best eye exam I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be returning.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
