  Maddy has been helping my dad with activities of daily life for the past four years. She has been indispensable! We value her practical approach to getting things done, and she’s built a great trusting relationship with my dad. We I know I couldn’t have handled getting my dad to all his appointments without her help. Knowing she’s there to assist my dad during the day allows me to focus on work and have peace of mind!

  We called Home Instead when mom needed someone with her daily and soon we needed 24/7 care. The team quickly adjusted our care plan. Everyone we worked with was professional and very caring. My husband and I live out of state. We received updates from every shift through the Honor app. It was such a blessing to see that mom was receiving loving care. I highly recommend the Home Instead care team.

  When my wife and I could no longer manage without help from a well-trained caregiver, we decided to work with Home Instead. We had done a good bit of research in order to sort out the many different options that come up if you look for this kind of help, and we weren't sure what we were getting into. But Home Instead proved to be a very good choice. We were especially impressed with Ritika, the director of care management at our location, who visited us to make the initial assessment of our case. She spent two hours listening to our description of our needs and expectations, answering our questions, raising her own questions where she needed more information, and examining our place. Her professionalism, her experience, her friendly demeanor, her thoroughness, her ability to give us as much time as we needed without either hurrying us up or wasting any time, and especially her express determination to find a caregiver as well-matched to our specific situation as possible gave us great confidence in the reliability and quality of the services provided by Home Instead. The caregiver who has been helping us five days a week since then has fully borne out that confidence. Her entry into our relatively small apartment, which we had shared with almost no one else before, could have been a difficult adjustment. But she is so friendly, gentle, and easy-going that it almost feels as if she were a member of family, as opposed to the competent, experienced, observant, patient, and highly effective professional that she actually is. We hope she will be able to continue working with us for a good many years to come. We have not gotten to know anyone else at Home Instead equally well. But we have met a few other caregivers on days when our regular helper couldn't make it, and we have communicated by email, phone, and text message with the people who manage the schedule, find someone else to help when needed, handle billing, file reimbursement claims with our insurance, and take care of whatever other administrative issues arise. As far as we can tell, they know their business and manage every aspect of it extremely well. Based on our experience we can recommend Home Instead highly to anyone who needs in-home care.
