    Everyone was friendly and professional, the doctor takes his job seriously which I appreciate. Also, the young lady (Sierra) who helped me pick out my glasses was delightful! I plan on coming back and getting a new pair soon.

    I went in for an eye exam and had a wonderful experience. From fast and easy booking, to a smooth appointment. Sierra was able to book my appointment within the week, and she is so kind and funny! Truly made me feel welcomed. And the doctor was very informative and articulated certain terminology in a way that was simple and easy for me to comprehend. Sometimes doctors tend to throw around all these terms the average person without a medical background wouldn’t know, without explaining what they mean. Not here. I felt like I was a person and not just another patient. Thank you again to the staff at Target Optical in West Loop!

    When I walked into this store I instantly felt comfortable. The staff members greeted me with a smile and I truly felt like they were there for me and not for a sale. As I looked around the store, I noticed everyone was treated in the same manner even if a customer had a problem they were there to find the solution to their problem. If they couldn’t they found someone who did. The one person who knew it all was Jessica Flores. She stepped in and resolved whatever the customer needs were. Needless to say, no one that I saw, left unhappy. She was the super target optical savior. She’s amazing and a breath of fresh air compared to many stores that I have been to. I can only wish there was a Jessica Flores everywhere I went. I would absolutely be returning and recommending this store to family members and friends.

    Ordering my glasses online was incredibly easy and smooth. The website experience was user-friendly, and I loved having flexible payment options like Afterpay along with other payment methods. That made the purchase feel convenient and accessible, especially for a larger purchase like glasses. Where things could improve is the delivery and tracking experience. The tracking number that’s tied to a third-party shipping platform is visible to customers, which can be confusing and shows internal delivery details that customers really shouldn’t need to see. Ideally, customers should only see high-level status updates on your website (such as “processing at store” or “ready for pickup”), while the more detailed delivery information should be visible to customer service if someone calls for an update. On the customer service side, representatives should be able to see when a package has been delivered to the store and whether it is in the dock area or being processed. In my case, I was able to see that my package arrived at the dock on Monday, but I wasn’t able to pick it up until Thursday. There was an estimated delivery date shown, but it wasn’t clear that there’s an additional 24–48 hour processing window after physical delivery before items are actually ready for pickup. An FAQ note or footnote explaining this would go a long way in setting expectations. One more thing: I never received an email saying my items were ready for pickup. I did receive a phone call (which I appreciated), but to complete the overall delivery and pickup experience, an email confirmation should also be sent when the order is officially ready. Overall, I’d still give this a 4-star experience because the ordering process and payment flexibility were excellent. With clearer tracking communication and pickup notifications, this would be a near-perfect experience.
