This place is the absolute best! I've been a member for years, and still feel challenged by the workouts. They made sure I was working out safely during pregnancy and gave me grace postpartum. Truly the best!

I've been going to Pure Barre for over a year now. What keeps me going back is the positive environment, supportive instructors, and variety of classes and exercises.

I’ve been going here a month and I think i’ve finally found a workout class I enjoy! The hands-on adjustments have changed the game for me as I struggle with the mind-muscle connection. They do lots of incentives and challenges that inspire me to workout more. They have a restroom, cubbies to put ur stuff, and all the equipment you need. Lots of pay-to-park spots and some free spots on the side streets but it’s close to the blue line, 56, 72, and 9 so easy to get too!

I love Pure Barre...and I cannot possibly overemphasize how much I have HATED exercise in the past – and exercise classes in particular. 😅 I grew up playing competitive tennis until I got a shoulder injury, and ever since I have chronic pain there. I struggled throughout my 20s to find alternative exercise that I like and was really resistant to exercise...until Pure Barre. The teachers are fantastic, and they provide an incredibly warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment. It is extremely accessible if you are a "beginner" to exercise like me; they are so encouraging, and you will see bodies of all shapes and sizes in class! The instructors trust you to make the adjustments that you need to access the exercises (unlike classes at other places, where sometimes I have felt "shamed" for making adjustments, even though sometimes I need to for my shoulder pain – or even just because my body isn't feeling it that day!) When I first started taking classes at Pure Barre a year ago, my feeling was, "Okay, this isn't so bad, I guess I can keep doing this..." which gradually grew to "I think I'm actually starting to like this..." And now, I go 4-5 days a week and actively look forward to every class! It's been such a dramatic 180 in my mindset towards exercise, my friends and family can hardly believe it. 😂 So if I can learn to enjoy exercise and body movement through PureBarre – anybody can! 😋
