Check with your EyeCare Center to see which insurance plans are accepted. Eye exams available at the independent doctor of optometry at or next to Pearle Vision. Doctors in some states are employed by Pearle Vision.

- USUnnecessaryitems SpamJan 22, 20261.0Do NOT book your exams here! Prior to this appointment, I was going to a smaller private practice. In all the years I have worn glasses I have always had single vision prescription. At my appointment ,Pearl Vision Pulaski, the Dr told me I should have been using bifocals only and not single vision. My prescription had a minor change so I felt confident I did not need bifocals (as my current prescription felt fine). I went ahead and ordered single vision lenses. I went to a different location to get an eye exam, I let the Dr tell me first what my prescription would be. I was told single vision. When I asked the Dr about having been told last time that I should use bifocals, the Dr went ahead and further analyzed my eyes doing a few pointer tests and observing eye behavior. The Dr stated that I shouldn’t be using bifocals and that single vision was appropriate for me. While I understand you can have single vision bifocals, I did not like that the Dr I saw at pearl vision made it seem like I had no other option and was almost discrediting my prior Dr. This sounded like the classic act of trying to upsell a feature that was not needed.
