I had a great experience through out my visit for my annual eye exam. Everyone at the store was so nice and welcoming. They answered all and any of my questions and explained stuff for me, such as new eye exam tech I wasn’t aware of since my last visit at a LensCrafters. This location might be my favorite one as well, they really go above and beyond! Add in edit: also the parking is definitely a plus!

Armani's customer service is top notch. He was able to readjust my sunglass lens within minutes. He was polite and elegant. It's nice to know great customer service still exist. Thank you Armani for you professionalism.

I came in with a warranty letter from Ray-Ban, clearly issued by LensCrafters corporate, regarding my glasses that wouldn’t charge. The associate referred me to the manager, Dennis, who didn’t even take a moment to investigate. He dismissed the issue outright and told me I’d have to go back to the original store where I purchased them — despite the letter stating otherwise. No effort to help, no courtesy, just a flat refusal. I ended up driving all the way to the River Forest location, where the staff was far more knowledgeable and respectful. They honored the warranty without hesitation and made the return process smooth and easy. If you’re looking for accountability and customer service, I’d recommend skipping this location entirely.

A little crisis when the screw popped out of my glasses while I was riding my bike. I am extremely nearsighted. I am very grateful to Armani at lens crafters on North Avenue who quickly resolved the problem.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
