Basically this manager was not able to handle basic customer service situation and try to put pressure on customer when he is responsible for the situation.
I missed a phone call from them this afternoon, I called back 3 times then the manager picked up the phone call, I told him I missed a phone call from them can you help me check to see if it’s the notification for my glasses order pickup, he said, I don’t know anything about this, I can ask someone call you back, I said you don’t have the system that enters my name and date of birth to check the order status? He said I do, but I’m with a customer now, unless if you want to hold, or I can let someone call you back. I gave him my info for the call back. Then I remembered their auto voicemail said I could receive a call back in 2 business days and today is Saturday! I drove there myself and after he finished with the customer I asked why he didn’t transfer the phone line to somebody who was available to help when I called? He said we were busy. I called 15 minutes ago and the whole store has 3 customers when I came in, one customer service (or other title) lady was free all the time during my time of visit and looks like there was a person handling phone calls in the back side of the office space with door open. He checked my order status and I do have my glasses ready for pickup! He said the person called me for order pickup but my voicemail is full, I said then I did my part to call back 3 times and why you tell me you don’t know anything about order status check and not able to let someone who’s available to check? Then he kept saying my voicemail is full. When he brought my glasses out, I told him I was told I could have phone call and text message for order pickup notification, why didn’t they text me? He checked on the iPad and told me I chose the phone call as communication method. I told him it’s not I did something, I was told I have both options. During this conversation, he always said “I’m sorry but I don’t know” after every time he find a reason to blame me.
I picked up my glasses and I’m done with this store!

My glasses arrived at the store with the wrong prescription in them. The glasses were re-ordered and the second pair was lost in shipping. I understand that mistakes happen, what I did not appreciate was the lack of focus... urgency of the staff in solving the problems. I am leaving for a long trip in two days without the new sunglasses. It took 2-3 visits to the store before they "gave up" trying to find the second pair of glasses inside the store. They do not have a workable system for checking in and tracking the new glasses when they arrive in the store. I observed other customers waiting while salespeople looked through drawers and boxes trying to find their glasses.

My husband stopped in to inquire about trial pair contacts and the sales associate Dwayne, who assisted him, went over and beyond providing superb customer service! If you’re looking for friendly and professional service, please go to LensCrafters at the Roosevelt Collection and ask for Dwayne!!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
