I asked them several times if it was needed and they could only really tell me that it was necessary because "it was cool" and "if I wanted braces" and I was not there for braces. I never got a firm answer for why exactly I needed to get this procedure done and so their continued insistence really came off as just trying to bill me for as much as possible while they could. I was happy with the actual procedures I came in for, but I'm leaving this here to indicate some not great business practices. Their staff could do better to listen to clients more or at least be able to explain why they are doing what they're doing.
