  Maddy has been helping my dad with activities of daily life for the past four years. She has been indispensable! We value her practical approach to getting things done, and she’s built a great trusting relationship with my dad. I know I couldn’t have handled getting my dad I know I couldn’t have handled getting my dad to all his appointments without her help. Knowing she’s there to assist my dad during the day allows me to focus on work and have peace of mind!

  All of the staff at Home Instead in Skokie were caring and supportive during my wife's brief but intense time in hospice at home. The team went out of their way to accommodate our changing needs on very short notice. Home care can be complex, requiring expert case management in addition to skilled caregivers. Home Instead excels at both. I highly recommend the exceptional Skokie team. I intend to use them again when the need arises.

  Our 88-year-old mother has late-stage Alzheimer's disease that progressed significantly during the pandemic, with her care needs changing rapidly. At each stage, Home Instead responded with skilled, compassionate caregivers who not only provide excellent physical care, but who interact with her on a personal level. They engage her, show her respect and work to provide her with dignity as her care needs progress. We work very much as a team, and our family is immensely grateful for her caregivers, and for the responsiveness Home Instead has shown to help meet our mother's needs during a very difficult time.

  My wife and I interviewed several in-home care giving services in order to find live-in caregivers to attend to my in-laws daily needs. We were impressed with the track record of Home Instead and the knowledge of their Morton Grove office manager Karen Newman. After trying out several in home caregivers, we have found the team that works hard to see that those needs are met and provide great comfort to all of our family members and have enhanced our quality of life. Our number one priority is knowing that our parents' are being cared for in a loving and caring manner. We highly recommend Home Instead (and have to several families) to serve your senior family members in a caring, respectful and loving manner.
