- MCMayalyn CottDec 17, 20252.0The doctor was great and went through all questions I needed, she took her time guiding me through the health of my eyes. However, I wasn't told at the beginning that they will be taking an optomap of me which was an extra $40 - at the end of the day I'd rather be preventative, but they made it seem like a regular part of the screening. When going through the bill and trying to see why it was higher, the person checking me out spoke much too fast like the end of a pharma commercial - I asked him to slow it down since I'm sure he gets these questions all the time, he didn't slow it down at all which I was still confused, then asking the third time I could tell he was starting to get a bit impatient, so I stopped asking. Finally I asked for my contacts to be shipped to the store since I get packages stolen and they said that was okay. No action was taken there so I asked if they'd call me when they're ready for pickup - the contacts were shipped to my old address! I don't usually try to post negative reviews but this ended up costing me more than I was expecting and if I didn't know the people at my last address I would have been out a year of contacts. I understand that my appointment was at the end of the day but I wish more care was taken from the staff (besides the doctor).
