  I was basically scammed out of $300 here. I was referred to this practice by my PCP for an irregular medical issue I have been facing. I put this issue as the reason I was coming into the office when I scheduled it online. When I showed up, the nurse was rude and condescending when I told her what was going on. When the doctor came in, he was nice, but he told me there was nothing he could do for me and gave me another referral to look into. I was then charged $270 AFTER my insurance was billed and I paid a $55 copay. Basically, I paid over $300 dollars for someone to stick a tube down my throat just to confirm that there was nothing he could do for me (which was clear he already knew from the nurse's notes). They should have cancelled my appointment and/or told me that doing the scope would be an additional cost and probably unnecessary. I felt like this was a complete scam and waste of my time. If you have any kind of irregular issue, I would recommend calling and confirming that the doctor can in fact treat you before you waste your time and $300. They will charge you just to sit there. What a completely disgusting but accurate representation of our money-making healthcare industry.

  If you want to feel like your doctor listens and cares, find someone else. My first appointment with Dr Levy lasted about a minute. Pretty sure he never made eye contact. Slid the scope down my nose with no warning, no preparation. "Everything looks fine." Leaves the room. Went back to my promary care physician, because I was still suffering, told her about my bad experience. Was sent back to Chicago ENT, saw Kathleen Masala. While her bedside manner was rough, she at least sounded like she cared. Scheduled me for an MRI. Returned to Chicago ENT to go over MRI results. I was 15 minutes late due to an accident on LSD and their own parking garage malfunction. I was told I would need to reschedule 2 weeks later. Seriously??? If I cancelled every doc appointment where the doc was 15 minutes late, I think I would hae lived 69 years having never seen a doctor. Ridiculous.

  I tried this office out after a recommendation from my neighbor. Unfortunately I have a very severe issue that requires reconstruction but they were very friendly and helpful in recommending other doctors early on in my condition. Very fast wait time which was also a plus due to me being so unwell.
