I came a little late due to traffic but they saw me right away! Very efficient cleaning and fun conversations!

Do not recommend this dentist. In my initial appointment, after an extremely cursory exam (under a minute) with the dentist, I was told I needed dental deep cleaning (an extremely expensive procedure). This was all explained to me by the receptionist rather than the dentist so I really couldn’t ask questions. When I asked if I could just proceed with a regular cleaning while researching options, I was told they were not able to provide a regular cleaning after the deep cleaning was recommended? Upon expressing some reservations, I was given a “offer” to “book right now for 10% off” which felt weird. I ended up going to a different dentist for a second opinion and after a much more comprehensive exam (including a gum assessment, which was not done here), I was told there was no need for deep cleaning.
After this whole ordeal, the appointment was billed as though I had seen a different dentist who was not in network which took a long time to resolve.

I’ve been to the Southport location multiple times for what were supposed to be routine dental appointments. Somehow, I left every single visit with more questions than when I walked in, which feels wildly counterproductive for a dental office.
Let’s start with gum recession, a topic that apparently exists in a parallel universe here. At one appointment, I was told receding gums are permanent and cannot be reversed. At the next visit, I was informed they could, in fact, “grow back.” This was exciting news and I assume the science evolved between my cleanings. It’s unclear whether gums are permanent, temporary, or simply operating on vibes.
During one cleaning, the hygienist burned the inside of my mouth with a tool. When I reacted, I was informed that this was essentially my fault. There was no apology, just the quiet, unsettling experience of being gaslit by someone holding a suction hose inches from my face.
Billing was another surprise. I received patient responsibility charges from appointments that took place over a year ago. While I fully expected to pay them eventually, being notified this late felt less like billing and more like receiving an unpleasant time capsule. The timing was especially thoughtful, as I was already dealing with other major medical expenses.
Then there’s the Invisalign quote. I was prepared for “expensive.” I was not prepared for “are these aligners infused with gold?” The pricing landed somewhere between premium and luxury car down payment.
Ultimately, I decided to stop going to this practice because I no longer felt comfortable or confident in the care I was receiving. Dental offices should not leave patients feeling confused, blamed, or financially ambushed.
Lastly, I will be taking my teeth, gums, my money elsewhere. I hope this review helps future patients make an informed decision and I sincerely wish this office clarity, consistency, and a little less confidence when delivering misinformation.

When I first walked in the dentist office, I was nervous, embarrassed due to the lack of front tooth and worried about the out of pocket expense it will cost as this was an unplanned emergency dental visit!
After meeting several staff members, the nervousness settled down as they were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I got good vibes from every employee I met! Just to name a few really awesome employees are Mari, Toni, Dr. Daftary. There are more but just to name a few. They all went above and beyond! I loved their good vibes and warm spirits so much, I wanted my mom to meet them!
They took the proper time to find the best dental treatment for me and were very upfront about the cost and what to expect during my visit. I was treated with such great care...no rushing or treating you like just another patient.
They want to know what is your dental goal and they go above and beyond to help you achieve your goal! The dentist and staff make sure your needs are met and you are comfortable in every way with the plan dental plan that has been tailored for you.
The environment of the dentist office is welcoming, clean and comfortable.
