- SGSarah GermannApr 3, 20221.0Recently I had an extremely upsetting and potentially dangerous experience at this pharmacy. I had to get a prescription for a blood thinner filled here, they didn’t have enough of the medication I needed, so they said to come back when I was running low and they would give me the rest. When I went to get the rest of my prescription, they said due to my insurance, they couldn’t fulfill it until the day I was completely out, which happened to be a Sunday. They said it would be ready asap Sunday morning for me to pick up. When I went to get my prescription on Sunday, I discovered they were closed for the entire day. My attempts to get my prescription filled at another Kroger location were futile, as every manager and pharmacist I spoke to said because the Carbondale location had already processed the order, there was nothing they could do. Because of incompetence of the Carbondale pharmacy staff, my medication that’s imperative that I take was sitting, unable to be obtained. After this frustrating experience and other incidences of discourteous treatment, I won’t be using this pharmacy anymore and I would not recommend it to others.
