This lens crafters location has a very clean modern feel with a large variety and selection of lenses. Dr. Omari is very professional and explained my exam thoroughly. Erriann kindly and pleasantly assisted me with finding the best glasses that suited my face and fit my style. Erriann made billing my insurance and ordering my lenses and contacts a breeze.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Omari! She is absolutely amazing and makes every appointment feel easy and stress-free. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she truly cares about her patients. She is kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and she takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. I never feel rushed, and I always feel listened to. LensCrafters is lucky to have her!

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Omari and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The office is clean, modern, and very well organized, which immediately put me at ease.
Dr. Omari is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire exam. You can truly tell he cares about his patients and their eye health, not just rushing you in and out.
The staff was also so kind and professional, and the whole visit was efficient without feeling rushed. This was honestly one of the best optometry experiences I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Dr. Omari to friends and family.

LensCrafters Burr Ridge is an absolute disaster.
I bought lenses for my own frame and was upsold a protection plan that is completely useless. After only three months, a lens popped out. I brought the glasses in, and the associate failed to fix them using the same basic tricks I already tried at home. I was told to leave them for a technician. who never showed up.
The next day, they called me only to say they couldn’t fix anything and handed my glasses back still broken.
Their solution?
Pay another $700 for lenses and buy a new frame from them, because the protection plan “doesn’t cover this.” That’s not protection—that’s a scam.
Corporate was no better. They claimed the store is responsible, while the store acts like corporate is a different company entirely. Everyone passes the blame, and the customer is left with broken glasses and zero help.
If I buy a new frame the lenses should come with the frame. Is not that the purpose of the protection plan?
Bottom line:
• Lenses failed in 3 months
• Protection plan is meaningless
• Staff is unhelpful
• No accountability whatsoever
If you value your money or your vision, stay far away from this location.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
