- SSSamone SoutherlandFeb 11, 20261.0Very frustrating experience at the pharmacy due to the negligence of the Jewel Osco pharmacist staff. I was over charged for my medication by over $100 because they didn’t process my prescription transfer from the neighboring Jewel Osco correctly. I had called and confirmed their inventory and ability to fill and they confirmed they could and told me they would get it transferred right away and I confirmed all my details. But when I tried to pick it up they had “lost” the prescription and sold my meds to someone else and made me pay for name brand. Why should I have to pay a premium for their mistake?

Due to being in a car wreck in 2022 I suffer from chronic hip pain and sciatica nerve damage. Well my provider sent my script to be released, which somehow didn’t show in the system still 24hrs later. I contacted my provider while there. Who then phoned in to the pharmacy to see what was going on. The conversations and things that were mentioned about me due to me calling my provider was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. If I could hear them while sitting in the wellness consultation area, im sure the other 5 customers heard it as well. I made sure to contact my provider to see if I can switch pharmacies, bc I was so uncomfortable and disappointed with what occurred. Like I explained to Ms. Taylor the pharmacist “We get to choose our line of profession. And sometimes we need to be a little more kinder than necessary, because some of us didn’t ask to be in the positions that we are in!”
