  I recently picked up a new prescription from this Fred Meyer pharmacy. Sometimes when I ask, the people working at the counter will agree to check with GoodRX for a better price. Recently I asked the young man working the front counter if he could check on any price breaks for my new prescription. His answer was rude He said, "Well your insurance saved you money and we don't check for discounts." Actually, other staffers have in fact checked for discounts. I wasn't familiar with the new medication so I asked to speak with a pharmacist. The young man working the counter picked up my bagged prescription and as he walked back to talk to the pharmacist, he reached into the bag and started opening one of my sealed prescription boxes. I asked him not to open the box. He looked at me with a confused look on his face. He needs extensive training but not to work in a pharmacy. He should be working in the store stocking shelves, not dealing with customers in a pharmacy.

  I use to give them 5 stars but it seems like recently every time I call they give me a new date to when I can get my prescriptions. They’ve made me go over there to pick up a medication twice in the same week just to tell me “sorry we were wrong and you have to wait another few days” and then when I listen to them and go on the day they say.. they say “oh again we were wrong, you have to wait another day” It’s so confusing. Everyone I talk to I always tell them to go to a different pharmacy because you will never know when anything is ready or able to be picked up lol

  I'm not sure where to start but here goes. September 7th my doctor sends my prescription over to Fred Meyer and I get a call a couple of days later from a pharmacist or technician asking for more specifics. I then show up about 2 days after that and one of my two prescriptions are filled. They tell me they still need more clarification on the second prescription from the doctor's office. Okay, so I contact my doctor the next day and they send the prescription over again. The phone app says it will be ready on the 19th. I show up after the 19th to find out they still need more clarification. This is ridiculous. I'm transferring back to Costco who had previously filled this SAME prescription in 48 hours. Fred Meyer can keep their lack of competence and over priced groceries. I'll drive the extra few minutes to Costco.

  The Techs are the only reason I stay at Kroger pharmacy. The pharmacy is understaffed, with no onsite management, it's all managed by out of state regional managers. Pharmacist turnover is ridiculous!!

  This Pharmacy used to be top notch, but not so much anymore. I don't blame the staff because they are working hard with what they have. Fred Meyer needs to stop being so cheap and hire more staff and expand the Pharmacy. Preferably to an area where more than three cars can wait in line at the drive up window. Another issue is the massive influx of people to the area, all local businesses and Government are overwhelmed. However, I put blame on them for being completely short sighted and not preparing for the growth we all knew was coming 10 years ago. The drive up window is always closed and the line is ridiculous. I would find another pharmacy if you have the option. I know I'm switching ASAP!
