I have shopped the Hayden,ID Safeway for probably the last time. I have shopped this store for over 20 years and since it changed from Albertsons to Safeway they have been not giving you the app discounts that you are supposed to get. I haven't changed the way I use the app but the have changed to not giving you the discount for any clipped coupons that you do in the store. If you want you can go to customer service to figure it out but who has time to fix every receipt with customer service. It's really too bad.

I experienced a disappointing lack of courtesy and empathy during my visit. The male technician showed little concern for the customer experience. I was not informed that the pharmacy was about to close, nor that I needed to remain nearby. As I wasn’t feeling well—hence needing antibiotics—I briefly stepped away to get a snack and returned to find the window closed. This was a Sunday night with not enough time to find an alternative putting my health at risk. I was told they called my name over the intercom, which I never heard. In the past, I’ve received a text notification when my prescription was ready; I’m not sure why that courtesy wasn’t extended this time. A simple apology could have gone a long way, but none was offered. Customer service should be about care and consideration. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to return.

Melissa was great! She was so warm and friendly. We are visiting family here in the Coeur d’Alene area, and the smoke from the fires is a trigger for my daughter’s asthma. I was worried we may not be able to get my daughters prescription transferred to fill here and have on hand before Labor Day, but Melissa got it done super quick!
