  First--This place is far out of normal travel for me. That said, I am definitely going back there. The staff are awesome. As others have said, Barbara is the BOMB. She engages with you as you are sitting in the waiting room, she cracks jokes, and she shows humanity--particularly while delving through the trainwrecks of dental insurance contact numbers. Now, on to the ambiance and the setup--the stations are private-ish. The chairs are comfortable enough to sleep in. The station did not have a huge screen trying to upsell me on a throat cancer detection package that never changes. The surrounding environment is GORGEOUS. And the stations are open and large enough to actually not feel cramped. They weren't swamped while I was there, and all the staff was relaxed. (Well--except for Barbara, who I swear was building a vudu doll of some insurance contact person at one point). My hygienist was Sarah...she teased me about the reason I had tracked down Dr. Rondla. (Being upsold for invisilign I do not need by previous provider--long story, with 8 to 10 ads, et al). Her work was solid, quick, and very efficient. I liked her interaction with Dr. Rondla and with Barbara. Plus she was fun to talk with. Well--when I had the instruments out of my trap. Now...The last piece...I've known Dr. Rondla for the past two or three years. I was a patient at her last -corporate-owned- office. I was disappointed when she left, but gave them a chance, and I realized she had done a lot to keep that office feeling comfortable. So I tracked her down on the Idaho Dental Association and cold called the office. Yep--I'd found her. SO I switched--and I am definitely going back...well--until I get upsold continuously or I find a vudu doll in my likeness...Bottom line...GO THERE--but DON'T mess up MY appointment availability!!!

  The folks at Blue Heron Dental are wonderful. I've been going there for five years (since before Dr Bowker retired) and they're always so welcoming and kind. When the practice changed over to Blue Heron a couple years ago, the change was seamless. Barbara and Kris continue to deliver the same wonderful service and standard of care that make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible!

  Barbara is the BEST receptionist. She's always on the ball. The dental work is also superlative! We've been coming here for decades as a family and the new team of doctors and hygienists are professional, quick, and well-trained. They use well proven procedures and attend ongoing training to stay ahead of new tech and advances. HIGHLY recommend! I'll never go anywhere else!
