I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt like our experience needed to be shared. My family and I brought my grandmother to The Good Feet Store after my mother’s friend recommended it for foot pain. My grandmother has been dealing with foot problems for quite a while, so we were hopeful this visit might help. At first, the appointment started off well. The salesperson explained how foot pain can affect other parts of the body and walked my grandmother through their free assessment. She tried several different insoles in her shoes while we talked about how they felt. However, the salesperson repeatedly tried to tell my grandmother how she should be feeling in the insoles rather than listening to her. When my mother asked my grandmother if she truly felt a difference, she said only somewhat, and with some of the insoles she actually began feeling more pain. The salesperson insisted that discomfort was just part of the adjustment process. The situation really took a turn when we were shown the pricing chart. The lowest package we were offered was around $2,300 for a pair of Brooks shoes and three sets of insoles. We told the salesperson we needed time to think about such a large purchase. At that point, the salesperson became noticeably rude and condescending. He told us that there were other customers waiting who were “serious about buying.” It felt incredibly dismissive, especially when we were simply asking for time to consider a $2,300 purchase. As we were leaving, he also said that if we left we wouldn’t be coming back. My mother tried to explain that we just needed time to think about it, but he insisted he knew we wouldn’t return. He then ended the interaction with a sarcastic “sorry we couldn’t help you today,” which felt more like a guilt trip than customer service. After this experience, we decided we definitely will not return. The pricing felt extremely high for what was offered, and the pressure to make an immediate purchase made the situation very uncomfortable. To add to the confusion, my mother later called the friend who recommended this place and asked if they had paid around $2,300 for their insoles, and they said they had not and that they only paid around $500. Overall, we left feeling pressured, dismissed, and disappointed. When people are dealing with pain and looking for help, they deserve to be treated with patience and respect.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Good Feet Store

How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?

Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.

I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?

Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
