- BBBobby BurnsApr 1, 20261.0I thankfully moved out of state and sought care elsewhere, but my primary care physician gaslighted me into thinking that my headaches/tinnitus were just something that I had to live with and that any surgery options were terrible ideas. It turns out that I have ponticulus posticus which is impinging my vertebral artery and occipital nerves. If left untreated, I would have started suffering stroke like symptoms or potentially died if in a car accident. I thankfully now live in Minneapolis and am getting care from an amazing spine center. Don't let these people dismiss your concerns or trick you into accepting something curable. The brain drain in Iowa is real.
