  Went in for appointment after 40 minutes went to counter and was told I was delayed for a medical emergency. After another 15 minutes went back to the counter (lady said she forgot about me) I was told it would be a while longer and could reschedule. I asked for a refund on copay and was told it was already canceled. Explained the charge had already hit the account ( I recieve notifications on phone) and the lady in a condescending tone said "I assure you it has been canceled". I waited two weeks no credit so I went in and they could not help me and gave a number to call. Called and was told that the credit request was submitted and would get a credit in 24 to 48 hours. One week later I called after not receiving a credit. Was told once again the credit request had been submitted to supervisor. Asked to speak to supervisor and she was unavailable. Asked lady on the phone what can I do as at this point the charge had been in place for 3 weeks. She put me on hold and talked to someone that would not talk to me and said I would have to call my credit card company. I called Chase and they canceled the charge immediately. Iowa Clinic billing was completely inept. The lady at the counter was rude and loud, She actually stood up and talked loudly and as previously written was condescending. Chase credit card was awesome.
