  We brought in Home Instead in the last month of our Mother's long hospice stay and could not have been more pleased with the service and compassionate care. From our initial meeting through the care-giver visits, the Spencer office worked every way possible to make my Mom comfortable and reassure the family. We had overnight care-giving and were able to rest knowing that Tara and Courtney would be so attentive to our Mom's needs. Thank you to them and thank you to Allison for organizing our schedule, answering every question and being a great representative of this office. Thank you Home Instead.

  I am so grateful for the wonderful care that Home Instead has provided for my mother over the course of 3 years. They have consistently provided such excellent caregivers; they are clean, caring, personable, on time, and so hard-working! Home Instead has carefully matched workers with my mother’s needs and personality. The communication has been excellent; all of the staff we have interacted with (either on the phone or in person) have been incredibly kind, compassionate and professional. Their meticulous planning throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic has been awesome. The safety of our loved ones and their workers were of highest priority. Again, I must complement our caregivers. They are such efficient workers and accomplish the needed tasks, and yet they notice little things that need to be done and most importantly, they take time to talk with my mother. They share life stories like old friends. Because of their compassion and caring, my mother’s face lights up when they arrive, and the fun begins. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Home Instead for anyone looking for care at home. They have been such a blessing for our family so Mother can stay safely in her home of 70 years.   Great new experience for my mother. Extending her experience living at home with more quality and companionship. Help her with running errands, going to church, and some cleaning around the house.

  Update 7/21/2020: Service is wonderful, love the ability to cancel within 3 hours of scheduled time and the home health aides continue to be wonderful help for my Mom, who has Alzheimer's Disease. Update 3/20/19: My Mom enjoys the visits from home health aides. Service is still great! Previous Review: Professional Friendly & Helpful employees. Reasonable rates for companionship / light housekeeping / cooking / cleaning for client with dementia. I was surprised to find care coordinator would work a shift if there isn't a worker available. Also surprised when office let me know where my house key & some paperwork was left in my home after shift ended - communication is excellent! Minimum 3 hours of care, which is great, and can cancel up to 3 hours before shift starts or cancellation is due to an emergency.
