I think this would be more beneficial if i told my whole story, so here goes - I had decaying/rotten/missing teeth. YEARS of neglect, sugary foods, and other unhealthy habits caused them to fall out, be discolored, and just be gross and ugly looking. Periodontal disease, bone loss from missing teeth. Everything. After another one of my teeth broke and fell out, i mustered up the courage to go in to the dentist. I chose Veranda, because it was close and the reviews were positive. I went in shameful and embarrassed. I don't remember her name, but the dental hygienist that saw me, was polite, and professional and when she was poking my gums, she was actually gentle, and wasn't trying to cause pain. When she was done, Dr. Chad met with me and we went over some things and i wanted to get all my teeth fixed or implants. He wrote me up a estimate, and i freaked out and never went back....
Three years later, my teeth kept rotting and falling out, so again, i mustered up the courage to go back. I go in and same thing. They were all welcoming and professional and i never once felt like i was being judged. I asked about implants and Dr. Chad was trying to keep/salvage my teeth, but at this point, i'd given up on them and was ready for the toothaches, and the self-consciousness and embarrassment to be over with. So we negotiated a payment plan and a plan to get me full All-on-six implants. My first procedure was on June 25, 2025 and as of this writing on March 11, 2026, I've been eating peanuts and apples, and steaks and popcorn and broccoli and ice cubes and tortellini and asparagus. I'm slowly learning to maintain eye contact with people when i smile and laugh again. Dr. Johnson and his team have earned a patient for life.
