  I have been going to see Tyler for quite a while now. I have been going to therapy for 10 years or so and never understood when people said "you just have to find the right one" until I started with Tyler! He has given me so many tools and has helped me to reach diagnoses that I wouldn't have if it weren't for him. He is also highly skilled in so many areas that have been more beneficial than I can describe. I highly HIGHLY recommend Tyler for any mental health needs.

  Tyler is an exceptionally gifted therapist and counselor -- the most effective one I've ever experienced. He's astute and open, welcoming, compassionate and flexible, but more than anything I've been impressed with how he approaches our sessions as much as an educator as a therapist. I've never experienced that before, but it has contributed mightily to my own self-understanding and awareness, and he has given me practical tools and exercises which have resultingly empowered me to be an active participant in my own therapy, even on the days when we do not have a session. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

  In 2020 I made the decision to seek mental health counseling after many personal and professional stressors in my life. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made for "me" in a long time. Not only because I started to invest time in dealing with my trauma, anxiety, and stress but even more so that I connected with Tyler Jensen. Tyler makes our time together feel effortless, like a chat with someone you have known forever. He not only listens to understand and empathizes, but also asks questions that challenge my thinking and pushes me to consider things differently. He makes an effort to relate with me personally, sharing past experiences and providing good advice on how to approach an uncomfortable situation. The thing I like most about my relationship with Tyler is that he has made an effort to really get to know me individually. I notice that he takes the time to be present for me and remembers even the smallest details that I've shared with him. He has helped me to work through difficult situations and provides the opportunity for me to deal with challenges as I am comfortable doing so. I would highly recommend Tyler to anyone I know. He is caring, thoughtful, direct, funny, and so easy to connect with. There have been many times that I will refer back to something that Tyler has shared or offered in our counseling sessions when I'm with friends or family. The typical response is - "you really are so lucky to have such an amazing therapist" and I agree!
