I made a switch to her & Iowa Clinic because I felt like my current provider was dismissing my concerns, expecting individual appointments per/concern. This felt like a grab for money which sucked. Alexis did the exact opposite; She listened & helped me to make a decision for me, based on my lifestyle & needs without judgement. It felt like having a friend & a conversation in the doctors office which is the best way to experience the doctor in my opinion. I look forward to seeking care in the future, feeling heard & cared for!
- RTRodger TeasdaleFeb 23, 20265.0I can not speak for all the doctors because I only see one of them. Dr. Gastineau is always great, does not rush your appointment. The front staff, nurses and lab folks are also great. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had one doctor who leaned more towards “water and exercise can cure everything” and another doctor who just listened to your concerns and understood where you were coming from. Which was nice. Refill requests can be slow sometimes. They do not have the best communication system but thats the norm nowadays. Front desk though - needs addressed and needs to attend some basic customer service training. I don’t enjoy hearing “oh my god” as if they were trying to “whisper” that to the person next to them. Very unprofessional. It’s the anniversary of my dad’s death and my emotions were already very explosive - To say the least. The bare minimum your “customer service” personnel could do is show the slightest bit of understanding what that entails. I’ll likely be finding a new provider due to the interactions I’ve had with them. Today wasn’t my first bad interaction by any means. Do better. And at the very least, put your hand over the phone when you’re trying to make disrespectful comments next time. Thanks. 😁
