- SRSuzanne RobertsonNov 20, 20255.0I found Lisa Brekke through an online search after having brain surgery to remove an acoustic neuroma/vestibular schwannoma. The first moment that I met with Lisa, I knew she was the one who would get me walking and regaining independence! Lisa gave me confidence to do things on my own that I thought would be impossible like walking up/down stairs, walking without a walker, standing up while showering, the list is long!!! Lisa showed me lots of exercises to help with balance, dizziness, etc. It has been 10 months of vestibular therapy with Lisa and now I'm discharged and learning my new normal. Lisa changed my life 100% post-op. She actually saved me from thinking my life was pretty much over after surgery to celebrating one year post-op by walking on the beach and putting my feet in the Gulf. Thank you, Lisa for everything you do!

I was visiting from New York for work and was experiencing debilitating vertigo. It was sudden, intense, and scary. I contacted Kinetic on my plane and they were able to squeeze me in to be seen the same day. Now, Dr. Lisa Brekke was incredible. I was scared, anxious, and mind you in a state that was not home. I was experiencing something I never experienced before and I was beyond nervous. From the second I walked in, she was calm, comforting, and held space for me to express what I was going through. After, she did the epley manuever and it made a tremendous difference basically immediately. If I lived in Des Moines, it would be a no brainer to keep coming back here. The best PT I ever experienced. The best dr. I ever saw. Grateful, grateful, graetful! Thank you again team <3
