- AHAmber Heller2 days ago4.0I have anxiety about doctors, so I purposefully set up an appointment for my partner and myself 20 minutes apart with the female doctor since we both prefer females. I figured this way we could go in together. They had my partner go first, and she got the female doctor, but then I went second and got the male doctor. If you don’t actually get to choose which doctor you want, they shouldn’t let you choose when booking the appointment. I know he probably didn’t have anything to do so they gave him to me, but they probably could have at least asked if it was okay first. I had me going first and both with the female doctor to try to help me be less anxious and I ended up going second with the male doctor. Lol So my main critique is if they aren’t going to do what you sign up for, they shouldn’t give you a choice.
