- HWHannah WagsterFeb 18, 20261.0I called EIPS to make an appointment. The receptionist seemed very nice. I told her that my primary insurance was blue cross blue shield. I mentioned that I'm disabled and have been since 2009, so naturally i have Medicare. I have schizoaffective disorder and very high functioning. She continues to tell me that medicare is only for people 65 and older. I'm listening to her go on about it and she said she was going to ask someone a question. So she put me on hold. Comes back and says the billing person, I'm supposing, was on the phone. So she took my phone number and said she would call me back. I thought she meant she was waiting for billing to get off the phone so I thought she would call me right back. Nope! Never got a call back. I wasted my day waiting around for the call. You know what, if she doesn't think I'm smart enough to know my own insurance that I've had since 2009 then this is not the place for me. This is not the first time this has happened to me. So I guess it's not about helping people with serious mental illness, it's always about the 🤑. Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere where you are treated like a human being, instead of just a $.
