  Melissa was wonderful! So cheerful and happy. Mammograms are not pleasant, but she did everything she could to make me comfortable, even offering anterior angles for the side pictures. I will be recommending her to everyone!!

  You may not know what it’s like to have your veins poked and prodded until your veins blow or ride into the wilderness just to get an IV in the right location or for the tech or phlebotomist to draw a small tube of blood. Well it’s twice as difficult when the tech, nurse or phlebotomist’s only option is to draw from the best vein in your hand when your arm is not an option — (it truly hurts when they miss and keep poking—painful). Only experienced specialist need to try no more than twice before I say “enough.” CareyAnn did what others tried to do at downtown Iowa Clinic Des Moines, it was at the Ankeny location (even after all the warnings from the other location) that she hit my vein in my hand on the very first try in order to start an IV — commendations to the great team at Medical Imaging in Ankeny— This is their second time completing a job that others dare not go—CareyAnn You Rock!
