- MSMichelle StimsonOct 6, 20255.0July 21st, 2025 I had scoliosis surgery in Iowa City. I wouldn’t be where I am at today without Kinetic Edge, Drew has been a blessing. This surgery saved my life. My spine was bone on bone with my right hip. Before surgery my pain was immense. I have truly been granted a new lease on life, I plan on never taking it for granted. I am now totally pain free. I love going to physical therapy! Everyone is so kind & I appreciate how Drew takes the time to explain the reasoning behind each exercise we do. It’s challenging & it’s impressive how far I have come since starting here. My left leg was very weak. It’s so cool to not only see the results but to feel them. Thank you for being a HUGE part of my healing journey. The dedication & care you give has been appreciated more than you know. I highly recommend Kinetic Edge in north Ames.

I learned a variety of exercises and stretches to improve my mobility and strength. He also took the time to review some of the weight machines I was using, and gave me tips on doing them the correct way. He was always very positive and encouraging. Makia was always very pleasant, and arranged my appointments for me. Thanks everyone at Kinetic Edge North.
