  My visit was over a year ago. I was 44 at the time and have been nearsighted my entire life. I never had issues reading, but with my new prescription I have to remove my glasses to read. I informed Whylie Eye Care of this and they simply told me, you'll probably need bi-focals next time. According to ChatGPT: 1. It is very common for my age group to need to switch to a bi-focal, the doctor should know this and this should've been caught during the eye test. They should've tested my near vision with the updated prescription. 2. When I informed them of my issue, they should've offered a free recheck and a remake (I pay any difference for bifocals). 3. They should've explained presbyopia. The fact they did none of the above and left me hanging with a pair of glasses that are only functional for seeing far away, means I won't be returning to them. I spent over $400 on the glasses and lenses.

  They were very friendly, I just wish they had more colors to choose from in their Oakley brand frames other than black. I'd prefer like a purple or blue, something more fir a woman. But staff is a 5 star..

  I have been debating posting or not. I still have to go back there for a follow-up adjustment. The experience could have been better. A lady knocked, opened the door, entered and plopped down on her stool. No introduction. No clarifying who I was. Just no personable skills whatsoever. Seemed rude, in my opinion. I still have never learned her name. That just seems weird to me. Zero stars would suit this review better.
