- MTMaui World TravelersOct 30, 20234.0Wailuku's sole Safeway & Pharmacy is located at the Maui Lani SC. That said, there is no drive thru. Hours are 8a - 8p weekdays and 9a - 5p weekends. They close for lunch from 12:15p - 1p. Text messaging conveniently alerts you of your med's status. Service has been good. TIP: Travel vaccinations are available. We utilized their services for a safari to Kenya years ago. OVERALL: Unfortunately, pharmacy services aren't available on the Safeway app.

My major compliant is that they change medicine manufacturers WAY too often! I've always been very familiar with each of my med.`s. Now, I can no longer tell what I`m taking w/o referring to the bottle. Once, I had 2 totally different looking pills in one bottle. They were the same medicine, but, different manufacturers. I found this to be very disturbing. I had no confidence in my medications for the month! I have become, as I see it, a burden on my friend, who, is also my pharmacist. Thanks Google, for allowing me this opportunity to share my experience with a pharmacy in a grocery store! It's just not quite proper, I wonder if anyone agrees. I surely would like to know!!
