  On vacation and forgot my prescription at home. Had doctor send the prescription to this Safeway hoping to pick it up during my stay. Pharmacist was not helpful at all.

  I switched to this pharmacy after a couple bad experiences with longs filling my meds, and i could not be happier. i have never had a pharmacy fill a medication as fast as they do, around 45 minutes for a drug that would have taken longs 24 hours. Very happy with them, always very nice and efficient, many reviews mention not answering the phone but that is pretty standard for most places on maui, and they have not messed up to an extent i have had to call them. fast and easy pickup as well, consistent hours too. would not purchase anything here due to how expensive safeway is in general, but for medication pickup they are great

  Horrible pharmacy. 2 bad experiences in 1.5 months. I made an appointment online at 9:30 am to get a covid 19 shot today at 12:30 pm and when I arrived they checked me in and I sat in the waiting room. 5 mins later thethe pharmacist, John, said they weren’t ready for me and I needed to come back an hour later. I asked why and he said they checked in the morning and there were no appointments, so they didn’t check for 4.5 hours?? The lady in the front office is great, John is who makes it a bad experience. On a previous time about a month ago, I went to get a transfer to refill my prescription from Seattle over here in Maui and John was very rude to me told me he was to busy and I had to wait to talk to him for 15 mins. I was the first person in-line right when they were supposed to open. Already started off bad but I waited for 15 mins and then John asked me what I needed. I said i have 2 more days of my meds till I’m out and he responded by telling me he is too busy and couldn’t get to filling my prescription for at least 4-5 days. What!?! How insane. I went to long drug down the street and what an amazingly better experience, and also filled my prescription in 24 hrs. I wasn’t even going to waste my time giving this review but hoping Safeway will read this review and fix the bad apple. For now id recommend going to Long Drugstore down the road.

  Sheila rocks! Southwest lost my luggage with a few meds that I have to take daily. I had enough in carry on for 3 days. After 2 days I went into panic mode. Sheila in the pharmacy helped me try all the options. Everything that could go wrong did and yet she persisted. 2 day saga that turned out great. Yvonne was also a big help at the end of a long day for her. Thank you both!
