  While looking for in-home respite care services for my mom “A Place for Mom” referred my name to “Home Instead” & another caregiving provider. Taylor from Home Instead replied almost immediately & was SO helpful & friendly, even suggesting some helpful questions I may want to ask from other caregiving providers. We ended up using Home Instead & I’m so happy that we did! The caregivers took my mom on errands to the grocery store, helped her with household chores, kept her company, & even watered our plants outside. Patty even brought some homemade meals to share with my mom, which she totally loved! Communication with Taylor throughout the whole time was very prompt; she & all the care professionals who helped my mom were wonderful! I can’t thank Taylor & all the caregivers enough; thank you for putting my mind at ease so I didn’t have to worry about her while I was away & thank you for caring for my mom so well!

  George Hewitt Home Instead Care Provider We have been fortunate to have George Hewitt with Home Instead care for our loved one several times a week this past year. He is a gentleman who consistently brings good cheer. He enjoys cooking and has made many excellent meals for her. We are also very comfortable having him drive Myrna to go shopping and other interesting, scenic, and enjoyable outings. When I came across an announcement for the Orchid Society Show at King Intermediate, he took her, and they had a fabulous time. Myrna loves flowers and is growing roses, orchids, hibiscus, herbs, and many other plants. George helps her to manage them nicely in addition to his regular duties.   If not for the expert care provided for my mother by the Home Instead folks I would be lost. Margie goes above and beyond with her on site presence with housekeeping and meals that look like they're from a magazine cover. It is abundantly clear that Margie cares for Mom above and beyond what would be normal for a client. Taylor is also a fantastic CAREgiver with an exceptional personal touch. The support staff in the office are amazing as well, dealing with scheduling issues and unique needs with courtesy and class. Thank you all!

  They made promises they couldn't keep. They're understaffed, therefore they always called to say no one can show up to watch my father. Sometimes they don't even call to let me know no ones coming. They ALWAYS made EXCUSES!!!! Worst experience ever!!!! I don't recommend them to no one!!!! If you want a company who's reliable, trustworthy, dependable & loyal.... This is NOT the company!
