- ERElle Ra'chelJun 11, 20221.0I get so stressed every time I have to go to this pharmacy. My most recent, and now last, experience with them goes like this: I use NuvaRing for birth control to regulate my cycle. I went to Safeway the week I was on my period to make sure that my Rx would be ready for pick up by the time I needed it for the following week. I was told “it will be ready for pick up on Tuesday after 3pm.” Great. Something told me to wait, so I went in that Thursday instead, only to be told “it’s on delivery and will get here tomorrow by 2pm.” Annoyed, but whatever. Friday rolls around, thankfully I found my Rx # so I decided to forgo the line and call to check on status. “Your prescription is on order and will be available on Saturday by 2pm…” Saturday, I call. “Your prescription is on order and will be available on Monday after 2pm…” I’m supposed to start my Rx on Sunday!!! I get a call on Saturday around 3:30 with a voicemail from Safeway “Hi Lauren, I’m calling about your prescription to see if you want me to order it, please let me know…” I finally was able to pick up my Rx, but now have to wait until my next cycle to start all over. Thanks a lot, Safeway. I’ve switched pharmacies.
