Staff members were warm, friendly, courteous and helpful. Dr David Miyasaki provided very informative, useful, explicit information regarding choices of implant, bridge, possibly root canal exploration and even potential risk leaving a gap. Accordingly, having an implant has a very high success rate. Dr Miyasaki seems to exude a calm confidence in his skills of being able to do well in any task at hand.

At the time, I had a dental issue and went to multiple dentists for opinions. Three of them recommended the same treatment, but it didn’t sit right with me—it felt unnecessary. When I saw Dr. Wilford, he took the time to explain an alternative approach that was more conservative and made much more sense. Although I wasn’t able to have the treatment done by Dr. Wilford at the time due to traveling, I ended up seeing a dentist I knew and trusted while I was away. That dentist independently recommended the exact same treatment plan Dr. Wilford had suggested, which reinforced how thoughtful and honest his assessment was. When I returned to the island, I remembered that experience and decided to come back to Downtown Dental Group—this time with my daughter. We were treated by Dr. Wilford’s son, Dr. David, and the experience was excellent. He was kind, professional, and made both of us feel comfortable and well cared for. The entire staff was amazing—helpful, welcoming, and genuinely kind. From start to finish, the experience felt trustworthy and positive. I’m very grateful for the level of care we received and highly recommend Downtown Dental Group to anyone looking for honest, patient-centered dental care.
