  Optician and trainee were good and was happy to select new glasses, it then got vile and disgusting due to the main store assistant, firstly the hygiene shown was abhorrent, blowing their nose loudly and then wiping hands on their dress leaving sticky snot trails, before picking up paper work and the glasses that would have had to be on my face, I left as soon as possible after having to pay 30 quid for the privilege due to my voucher not being good enough, I've complained to head office and they want all my personal details before following up with anything, I will never set foot in this branch again.

  Just wanted to give a massive shout out to Simon and Raj at VE in Tesco - Crawley Hazelwick Branch. Thanks to their massive amount of patience and understanding I have ended up with the best couple of pairs of glasses I've had in years. I am the worlds worst sceptic and was a total non believer that I would ever go down the varifocal avenue again after the massive disappointment with my first pair years ago from Specsavers. Been living with bi-focals every since and was ready to buy 3 pairs of separate glasses. Everyday bi-focals, occupational glasses and a pair of sunglasses but at the last minute was persuaded by both Raj and Simon to just "try them" and see for myself how they have changed. I'm very glad I did. They are nothing like what I had before. Everything is clear. The weird blurred edges are GONE! The whole lens is CLEAR! The window for seeing a computer screen which is what I had such an issue with before is no longer like a pinhead but seems to go the whole width of my lense. As for fitting, Simon has absolutely nailed it! Now so comfortable and fit perfectly. I was so pleased with my first pair that I've changed my plan and made my second and third pair into one pair of varifocals. I now have one for every day and one transitional for sunny days. Absolutely love my new glasses and a BIG THANK YOU to Simon & Raj. Brilliant service and highly recommend!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😁

  Had my eyes tested here in November 2024. The optician got my prescription completely wrong, told me that the Macular Degeneration that had previously been confirmed by three different opticians and a hospital consultant wasn’t there and completely missed that I have angle curve glaucoma. Thank goodness I didn’t just take her word for it and got a second opinion elsewhere because it would have been costly in terms of useless glasses and even worse - my eye health. No email address to make a complaint. Some major training issues with Vision Express in both Crawley branches. (Previously had a different issue at the town centre branch). I’ll steer clear in future.

  Hit and miss with friendly staff, expect long waits both in store and waiting for appointments and the actual glasses. One of the opticians was so rude to me on the phone. One in Crawley town centre Is better.
