I have needed glasses since I was a child and have religiously gone to Specsavers as me and my siblings (also glasses wearers) would go down with Dad and we would all get tested at once. Since 17 (now almost 25) I have needed a new prescription yearly as my vision continues to worsen. I easily spend £200-£400 a year on two pairs of glasses (normal and sunnies) as I need them for everything. Money is getting tight with cost of living and I found myself yet again needing a new prescription only 12 months from my last. I checked the Bluelight card and VE offers excellent discounts, eye care plan and allows you to pay them off monthly without interest. At my appointment my eye sight had changed drastically (1 step and new astigmatism one eye and 2 steps other eye). I was able to ask questions and the team spent about 45 minutes helping me find a great pair of glasses. My only complaint would be that the women's section seems much more limited than the men's, which made it tricky to find my ideal pair(s). I asked whether next year when I will likely need a new prescription what happens? As the payment plan runs over 24 months. It was explained if my eyes change significant enough (most likely) they would replace my prescription at no charge! I collected my glasses yesterday and again phenomenal service, and they emphasised repeatedly if I found them uncomfortable or struggle to adjust to my new prescription- to come back in. Excellent service guys, I will admit I was nervous to stray from Specsavers but I am glad I have made the switch. Hats off to you guys. Thank you
