  Had a fab show around at David Lloyd Reading yesterday. We were greeted by Dani on reception who was a lovely, welcoming personality and then guided around the facilities by Will, who not only answered all and every question my wife and I directed his way but was also fantastic at making sure we found the right membership option for our blended family. Absolutely ecstatic to be starting our family's fitness and wellness journey here in September, the range of facilities is fantastic but the staff really made it for us.

  Lovely outdoor pool..management keep it..as global warming gets worth this 'lido' will be the draw card jewel in your crown and set you apart as point of difference for members

  Honestly have had the worst experience at this gym. Firstly the website says it had tennis courts - the primary reason i bought a membership - arrived at the gym with my tennis equipment to find there are no gyms. I complained to the memberships team as that was the reason I got a membership in the first place. I then asked for a refund and its been a month, still no refund and contact is very limited. Not only is it false advertising which is illegal, they also are now not refunding my money. I'm very close to going legal with this given its hundreds of pounds. Really annoying experience to have to chase my own money that I paid for a subscription which was falsely advertising things online. Seems a bit scammy

  Run down and dirty in places - I noticed a patch of thriving green mold in the corner of the pool yesterday. Frequent suspicious sulphurous smells in the ladies showers. I'm personally not a fan of the open pool in summer because there are so many dead insects floating on the top of the water that it's hard to avoid getting hit in the face by one, which I don't really enjoy - it would be lovely if it was being cleaned more regularly. Unfortunately I'm locked into a one year contract with them, but with how things stand currently I definitely do not feel like experience matches the price.

  There are no parking spaces for people with disabilities. All the available spaces are occupied by ordinary people without disability ID. The staff doesn't do anything about it, and it's a gym parking lot. There's no shower in the steam room (I can't rinse the bench after use). I don't know if anyone cleans it at the end of the day because the snot on the ground hasn't been cleaned up for three days.
